When considering the job of a local distributor the following steps would aid and assist you to be better at your job:

1] You'll need to find a person to handle shipment called a freight forwarder.

2] You'll need to create solid contacts and strong relationships with reliable suppliers.

3] You need to find foreign manufacturers seeking foreign distributor, make a solid connection and establish
a business relationship with these companies.

4] The agent's commission is general about 10%.

5] You'll need a file system, business card and a classy letter head, make it look professional.

6] To every contact, write a letter introducing your company, requesting the names and addresses of appropriate firm to contact.
